Kisling, Moise Biography
Moise Kisling was a PolishFrench painter, born and trained in Cracow. From 1910 on he worked in Paris, close to the Cubists and to Chagall and Modigliani. Moise Kisling developed an elegant, semi- naturalistic style which brought success, especially in portrait painting. During the Second World War he lived in the USA, returning to France in 1946.
